Academic Background:
Meital holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Tel Aviv University and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Economics at Yale University. She also serves on the Executive Board of the International Sustainable Fashion Consumption Research Network.

Meital has spent more than a decade researching the environmental, social, and economic dimensions of the fashion industry. Her work examines secondhand clothing markets, fashion consumption patterns, sustainability regulation, and the global trade of used clothing.
