Academic Background
Matt Johnson earned his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Princeton University and teaches psychology and marketing at Hult International Business School, as well as at Harvard. His research focuses on how unconscious processes shape consumer decision-making, particularly in branding, storytelling, and perception.
Industry Experience
Matt works directly with global brands to apply behavioral science in real-world contexts. He has served as an expert-in-residence for Nike and advises organizations on how to translate consumer psychology into more effective marketing, positioning, and customer engagement strategies.
