Beth Esponnette founded unspun, a company that has built the world’s first 3D weaving technology for apparel and the key to fashion's waste problem. She is unspun’s Cofounder, Board Chair, and Chief Product Officer. Unspun has been named a TIME Magazine Top Greentech Company of 2024.

Beth has held a variety of design and development positions at Mountain Hardwear, Pearl Izumi, TechShop, and Ekso Bionics. She earned her BS in Fiber Science & Apparel Design from Cornell and MFA in Design from Stanford University before serving as Assistant Professor of Product Design at the University of Oregon. She’s been named a top innovator under 35 by MIT Tech Review and a sustainable thought leader by Vogue Business.
